About Dr. Fishbein
Dr. Gary Fishbein is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University. He then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he successfully earned his DMD degree. Dr. Fishbein completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at UMDNJ- University Hospital, currently regarded as one of the top programs in the country where he served as the administrative chief resident.
During his residency, he was trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and participated in cleft lip and palate missions to Bangladesh.
Dr. Fishbein’s interests include CT guided implant surgery, bone grafting procedures, third molar surgery, pediatric and adult IV anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, microsurgial nerve repair, and maxillofacial pathology reconstruction.
Dr. Fishbein maintains the following licensures and certifications: Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Dr. Fishbein remains active in the profession and is currently a member of the following professional organizations: American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABOMS), American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Fishbein is married with three children. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking and playing guitar.
